Job Summary
Registered Nurse in the ICU Float Unit providing comprehensive patient care. Responsibilities include assessing patients' physical and psychosocial condition, developing, communicating and documenting a plan of care, coordinating with the healthcare team, implementing and evaluating the plan, educating patients and families, and supervising non‐RN personnel. May function as preceptor to new staff and as charge nurse. Maintains high level of service and teamwork across units; exhibits competency in neuro patient care and related procedures as applicable to ICU settings.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
- BSN preferred
- 1 Year Neonatal ICU RN experience required
- Valid State Of Connecticut Registered Nurse License
- BLS Required
