Registered Nurse ICU

Coordinate and deliver high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the ICU department. In collaboration with medical providers and the care team, perform procedures, monitor patients, or execute other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s). Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner. Teach patients, families, and caregivers about their medical condition, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow-up measures, translating complex terminology to ensure understanding. Manage evidence-based practices and continuous process improvement initiatives to meet quality measures and enhance care. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver a holistic patient treatment plan that promotes recovery. Requires an RN license, Bachelors or Associate Degree, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within six months of employment.
