Job Summary
Registered Nurse - ICU responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating high-level neuro/nicu patient care; provides supervision of non-RN personnel, may serve as Charge Nurse, and coordinates care with the healthcare team. Requires BSN preferred, CT RN license, 1 year NICU experience, and BLS; proficiency in neuro assessment, airway management, suctioning (pharyngeal/endotracheal/tracheostomy), ventilator care, and education for patients and families. Demonstrates ability to adapt care across units, ensuring high level of service and compliance with policies. EEO/AA/Disability/Veteran.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred
- 1 year Neonatal ICU RN experience required
- Valid State Of Connecticut Registered Nurse License
- BLS Required
