Job Summary
Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the ICU using the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Conduct thorough patient assessments, administer prescribed medications, and monitor for side effects while documenting findings accurately. Manage complex medical equipment including ventilators and IV pumps, and perform procedures such as inserting central lines and managing tracheostomies. Respond to medical emergencies, participate in code team activities, and advocate for patient rights and needs. Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, provide patient and family education, and ensure adherence to infection control protocols and National Patient Safety Goals.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure
- BCLS - Basic Life Support

- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation
