Registered Nurse ICU

Facilitate, communicate, and collaborate with the healthcare team and patient/family to identify and meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Promote optimal health, well-being, and safety through the nursing process while adhering to patient care standards, guidelines, and the State Nurse Practice Act. Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values within an eight-bed ICU at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. Care for patients with conditions including sepsis, COPD exacerbation, respiratory distress, pneumonia, heat failure, GI bleed, renal failure, and overdose, managing art lines, central lines, intubations, procedures, and telemetry. Requires one year of RN experience, an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing, and a current RN license.
