Job Summary
Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interviews, and clinical data review. Evaluate patient responses and intervene to ensure optimal outcomes while developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Demonstrate competency in therapeutic interventions including IV therapy, wound care, medication administration, and specimen collection. Maintain accurate, confidential patient charts and document ongoing status and interventions in an IT-supported system. Provide patient and family education based on learning readiness and evaluate teaching effectiveness. Promote patient safety and rights while adhering to the nursing process, State Nurse Practice Act, and organizational standards. Requires an Associate or Bachelors Degree in Nursing, RN license, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Nursing
- Nursing Diploma
- RN License in state of employment
- Medium Work exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally
- up to 20 lbs. frequently
- up to 10lbs. constantly
