Job Summary
Registered Nurse ICU at Centerpoint Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the Intensive Care Unit in collaboration with medical providers and a multidisciplinary team. Provide individualized, comprehensive nursing care, educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, medications, and follow-up care. Uphold established nursing models (Assess, Perform, Teach, Manage) and contribute to quality initiatives to meet and exceed care standards. Ensure documentation, monitoring, and timely communication of patient status, while supporting recovery and outcomes in a Level II trauma center environment.
Required Qualifications
- RN
- Registered Nurse Diploma or Associate Degree
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
