Registered Nurse I (New Graduate) - 7W Surgical Oncology

Registered Nurse I (New Graduate) on 7W Surgical Oncology unit provides individualized, goal-directed nursing care to patients and families using the nursing process under general supervision. Works with the health care team on a 36-hour/week rotating schedule on a high-acuity inpatient unit that handles oncology cases including chemotherapy, radiation, TPN, and complex head & neck patients. New graduates receive specialized training with opportunities to pursue oncology, head & neck, med-surg, and palliative care certifications. The role emphasizes collaboration, patient-family centered care, and ongoing professional development, with a supportive team culture and potential BSN progression requirements.
