Job Summary
Registered Nurse I in the Emergency Room at Saint Francis Eufaula/Houston campus performs patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care using the nursing process per hospital/unit policies. Requires 12-hour shifts (3 per week), weekends and holidays as per department process, and active RN licensure (multistate or Oklahoma). Minimum education includes nursing diploma or degree with state board verification; 0–6 months’ related ER experience preferred. Primary Stroke Center in Oklahoma; safety-sensitive position under OMMA provisions.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license (multistate or state of Oklahoma)
- Diploma or degree in nursing
- 0-6 months related nursing experience (ER experience preferred)
- Basic nursing education verified by state board of nursing
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, weekends and holidays as required by department
- Strong knowledge of general disease state management, clinical pathways
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and maintain attention to detail
- Emergency Room nursing experience preferred
- Stroke center/ER experience preferred
