Job Summary
Registered Nurse I Ambulatory & Outpatient in Albemarle, NC provides and coordinates nursing care within the cardiology ambulatory/outpatient setting. Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care, engaging patients and families across the continuum. Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, collaborates with care teams, and promotes safety and quality initiatives. May administer medications and therapies as per clinical protocols. Demonstrates effective communication, delegation, and teamwork; maintains timely EHR documentation; may float to other units as needed. Requires RN licensure with privileges in the applicable state(s); BLS required; BSN preferred; typically 1 year of nursing experience. Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse license in state where providing care
- BLS certification
- Graduate of nursing education program approved by Board of Nursing
