Job Summary
Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers, administering vaccines, and handling inquiries. Accept new prescription orders and telephoned refill requests, then gather and enter patient information into the computer. Assist pharmacists in preparing prescription drug products, affixing labels, and submitting insurance claims. File dispensed prescriptions, report medication errors, and order or stock pharmacy supplies. Maintain the dispensing area cleanliness, process cash transactions, and ensure strict adherence to HIPAA and store policies. Work as a team member to support customer satisfaction and complete special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Professional License/Certification
- Licensed RN
- Nursing degree
- Licensed with the applicable State Nursing Board
- Multi-state licensure privileges
- Valid driver's license
- No DOT restrictions
- 18 years or older
- Pass pre employment drug screen
