Job Summary
Hospice RN on the overnight shift provides high-quality end-of-life care. Responsibilities include delivering patient care, conducting nursing assessments, developing and updating plans of care, educating patients and families, coordinating with the IDG and other health professionals, ensuring accurate documentation, practicing infection control, and pursuing professional development. Requires RN licensure with a multistate license, CPR, and experience in inpatient or hospice care; CHPN preferred. Education required: diploma or associate degree in nursing; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Schedule: overnight 7pm-7am, occasional weekends. Location: Clinton, SC (onsite).
Required Qualifications
- A Diploma or associate degree in nursing is required.
- A current, active, and unrestricted multistate license as a Registered Nurse (RN) is required.
- The Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) allows a multistate license to practice in other compact states.
- CPR certification required; CHPN preferred.
- Minimum 1 year related experience for inpatient units (IPU) and 2 years for other nursing positions; experience in direct care of patients with life-limiting illnesses required.
