Job Summary
RN provides patient-centered nursing care per ANA standards and code of ethics. Responsibilities include collecting health data, developing and implementing care plans, administering medications and IV therapies, performing diagnostic tasks, teaching patients and families, coordinating with the multidisciplinary team, and supporting ongoing professional development. Requires collaboration with physicians and staff, documentation of patient progress, evaluation of outcomes, and adherence to safety and quality practices. Part-time role with day shift in Cancer Care at John C Lincoln Medical Office Building.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Registered Nurse (RN) License - State and/or Compact Licensure (Arizona)
- BSN preferred or required within 60 months of hire in some cases
- National certification for unit specific patient population (preferred)
- Associates or Diploma in Nursing (required at hire)
Additional Requirements
- Arizona RN licensure required
