Job Summary
Provide quality nursing care to clients in the community as a dedicated Registered Nurse. Responsibilities include assessing and planning Homecare support, conducting service user assessments, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring timely reporting of incidents. The role requires strong wound care knowledge and experience, the ability to work autonomously, and a client-centred approach. Candidates should possess a current NZNC registration and valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Current registration and NZNC practising certificate
- Clean full New Zealand Driver’s license
- Must have the legal right to work in NZ
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in the community is desirable
- Knowledge of, or experience working with, spinal injury and traumatic brain injury (TBI) protocols is preferred
- Strong MS Office skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong and positive communication skills
- Ability to work in a complex and changing environment
- Critical thinking
