Job Summary
Assess and evaluate patient status, write and initiate care plans, and regularly re-evaluate patient and family needs. Develop care plans establishing goals based on nursing diagnosis, administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and complete accurate clinical notes regarding patient condition and care given. Communicate with the physician regarding patient needs, provide a safe environment, and attend interdisciplinary group meetings. Participate in on-call duties, supervise ancillary personnel, and actively participate in quality assessment performance improvement teams. Maintain professional knowledge through continuing education and fulfill requested case assignments. Schedule is Monday to Friday with consistent day-shift hours.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years' nursing experience
- Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
- Proficient with electronic medical records
- Excellent bedside manner and communication skills
- Working knowledge of health care laws and regulations
- Maintain current BLS CPR certification
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Own a reliable, insured vehicle

Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years' nursing experience, preferably in geriatrics is desirable
