Job Summary
Provide ambulatory care nursing in Holy Rosary OB/GYN and General Surgery clinics, performing general nursing care, administering prescribed medications, obtaining patient health histories and consent, triaging care, following established guidelines and standing orders, and coordinating with physicians and the care team. Responsibilities include educating patients and families about health conditions and management, documenting assessments and interventions in medical records, supporting lactation consultations and wound care services, and participating in multidisciplinary teams to improve care processes and outcomes. Requires RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and one year of clinic or acute care nursing experience; BSN preferred. Shift is full-time (40 hours) at Miles City, MT, with potential scheduling as five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts per week.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required
- Current/valid Registered Nurse license from the state licensing board is required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is required
- One (1) year related experience in a clinic or acute hospital nursing setting is required
