Job Summary
Provide nursing care in outpatient OB/GYN and general surgery clinics; assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care; administer prescribed medications; follow standing orders and protocols; assist with lactation consultations and wound care; document patient information and care using medical records systems; educate patients and families about health status and management of conditions; collaborate with physicians and care teams to optimize outcomes; perform triage and monitoring of patient conditions in an ambulatory care setting; maintain confidentiality and adhere to regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required
- Current/valid Registered Nurse license from the state licensing board is required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is required
- One (1) year related experience in a clinic or acute hospital nursing setting is required
