Job Summary
Provide nursing care in ambulatory OB/GYN and General Surgery clinics. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using nursing processes and coordination with the health team in an outpatient setting. Perform triage, follow established standing orders and protocols, administer prescribed medications, document care in medical records, and educate patients and families about health status and management of conditions. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to improve care processes and outcomes, and support lactation consultations and wound care services as part of clinic operations.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current/valid Registered Nurse license from the state licensing board
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- One year related experience in a clinic or acute hospital nursing setting
- Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing
