Job Summary
The Registered Nurse will work in an outpatient clinic setting serving Holy Rosary OB/GYN and General Surgery clinics. Responsibilities include nursing assessment, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care; adherence to nursing standards and protocols; triage, patient education, and coordination with physicians and health-team members; administration of medications; documentation in medical records; and participation in multidisciplinary teams to improve care quality. Requires nursing licensure in the state, BLS/ACLS, and at least 1 year of clinic or acute care experience. Preferred qualifications include BSN and certifications in lactation consulting (IBCLC) and/or wound care. Work schedule is full-time with potential five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts per week at Miles City, MT and related clinic locations; duties include assisting with lactation consultations and wound care services.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required
- Current/valid Registered Nurse license from the state licensing board is required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required
- One (1) year related experience in a clinic or acute hospital nursing setting is required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred
- IBCLC certification preferred and/or Wound care certification preferred
