Job Summary
Provide quality nursing care to geriatric patients in Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services by following physician orders and facility policies; administer medications (oral, subcutaneous, IM, or IV) as ordered; supervise nursing assistants; assist physicians during rounds; participate in patient care during rounds, examinations, and treatments; maintain infection control and universal precautions; support quality improvements and documentation for admissions, physicals, and ongoing care; collaborate with staff and families to ensure timely and appropriate patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse, graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current, valid license from North Carolina Board of Nursing and submit proof of license renewal every other year.
- CPR certified yearly.
- Attend in-service training and other staff meetings as required.
- Ability to supervise nursing assistants assuring that work assignments are completed appropriately and timely.
