Job Summary
Provide direct patient care as a Registered Nurse in Hematology/Oncology under the Clinical Manager, with leadership responsibilities including delegating, supervising, and participating in safe nursing activities for a patient-care unit. Collaborate with the healthcare team, patients, families, and community services to optimize outcomes, participate in unit-based quality improvement and research, and meet credentialing standards. Maintain clinical competencies, and obtain/maintain BLS and ACLS/PALS as appropriate; ONS chemotherapy provider card required within 6-12 months. Requires 12-hour night shifts (7pm–7:30am) with every other weekend and holiday, RI licensure, and a nursing degree (bachelor's preferred). Location: Rhode Island Hospital, Providence, RI, USA. This role emphasizes leadership, teaching, and continuous improvement in patient care across the lifespan.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Rhode Island
- Baccalaureate in Nursing (preferred)
- BLS and ACLS/PALS as appropriate
- ONS Chemotherapy provider card within 6-12 months (required)
