Hematology-Oncology Clinic Registered Nurse provides disease-specific education across the cancer care continuum, coordinates chemotherapy and hospital admissions, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary care team to support patients from diagnosis through treatment while reducing barriers to care. The role emphasizes safe, coordinated, and compassionate patient care, strong verbal and written communication, and skilled coordination within the care team.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a baccalaureate nursing program
- Current RN license by applicable state requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) competency (Arizona and Florida)
- Additional state licensure(s) and/or specialty certification/training as required by the work area
- Experience: one year of RN experience or one year of LPN experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Experience working in a team environment
- Computer skills and EMR experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including days/evenings/nights/holidays/weekends and on-call
- Leadership, critical thinking, and effective communication skills
