Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) within Hematology/Oncology and Medical units. Responsible for coordinating nursing care, direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care. Demonstrates leadership through preceptor roles, informal leadership activities, and quality improvement efforts. Delegates patient care based on patient acuity, skill, and resources. Requires excellent communication, mentoring, and teamwork; may participate in committees or projects. Occasional requirement to drive personal vehicle as part of responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- VisaScreen or equivalent certification for TN sponsorship (if sponsorship pursued)
