Job Summary
Registered Nurse for Assisted Living Unit responsible for administering medications, providing vaccinations, and rendering treatment to geriatric residents; collaborate with physicians, LPNs, radiologists, and other medical professionals to create a Plan of Care; manage unit operations, contribute to medical records, and admit/transfer/discharge residents; respond to inquiries from patients and guardians; track medical supply inventory; counsel patients and families before, during, and after treatment; requires NJ nursing license and nursing degree/diploma from an accredited program; one year long-term care experience preferred; full-time or per diem shifts available with competitive hourly pay; location in Hackettstown, NJ.
Required Qualifications
- Valid nursing license in the state of New Jersey
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Successful completion of one (1) year experience in a long term care facility preferred
- Have a knowledge of federal and state standards relating to documentation and resident assessment
- Be able to set priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
