Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care to patients undergoing heart stress tests, echos, and ultrasounds. Collaborate with inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care across the continuum of preventative care, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Manage patient assessment, education, triage, and various nursing interventions while maintaining competency in department-specific standards. Schedule is day shift, 32 hours weekly between 7:30a-4:30pm Monday-Friday, with call rotation approximately one weekend every other month. Candidates with ICU, ER, or cardiac experience are encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring
- Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
