Job Summary
Registered Nurse for Yale New Haven Health System cardiac units, supporting patient-centered care per ANA standards. Responsibilities include the nursing process across assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation and evaluation; coordination of care, health teaching, and collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Requires CT RN licensure, BSN preferred, and BCLS certification (or ability to obtain within one month). Emphasizes ethics, professional practice, leadership, cultural congruence, evidence-based practice, and commitment to high-quality cardiovascular care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- BSN preferred
- Licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut
- BCLS certification or ability to obtain within one month of hire
