Job Summary
Registered Nurse with a focus on Heart Failure Care coordination. Responsible for assessing patients, developing and communicating a plan of care, educating patients and families, supervising staff and potentially serving as charge nurse. Must demonstrate competency in neuro assessment, airway management (including tracheostomy care), and specialized cardiac care including devices such as LVADs, ECMO, and post-operative cardiac surgery patient care. Requires professional Nursing licensure in Connecticut and BSN preferred; CPR/BCLS certification required within one month of hire. Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- BSN preferred
- Current BCLS certification or must obtain within one month of hire
- Licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut
- Clinical specialty certification highly encouraged
