Job Summary
Registered Nurse on the Heart Failure/Neuro/Cardiac ICU team providing assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, supervision of patient care, and education. Responsibilities include supervising non-RN personnel, acting as charge nurse, coordinating care across units, developing and communicating individualized plans of care, and delivering patient/family education. Requires strong skills in neuro assessment, airway management (including tracheostomy care), and familiarity with advanced cardiac support devices and post-operative cardiac surgery care. BSN preferred; CT RN licensure and BCLS certification required (or obtained within 1 month). Provides preceptorship and supports professional development within a high-acuity cardiac/vascular ICU environment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- BSN preferred
- Current BCLS certification or obtain within one month of hire
- Licensed and a currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut
- Clinical specialty certification highly encouraged
Desired Qualifications

- Licensed RN in Connecticut
