Job Summary
Registered Nurse – Heart Failure Coordinator on a Cardiac ICU unit. Responsibilities include assessing patients continuously, developing and documenting individualized plans of care, coordinating and evaluating care with the healthcare team, providing education to patients and families, and serving as a preceptor and charge nurse. The role requires strong nursing competencies in neuro and cardiac care, airway management, post-operative and post-catheterization care, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- BSN preferred
- BCLS certification or obtain within one month of hire
- Licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut
- Clinical specialty certification highly encouraged
Desired Qualifications
- BSN preferred
