Job Summary
Consult and collaborate with school staff and families regarding students' health and wellness. Participate in the IEP process to develop present levels of performance, goals, objectives, and treatment recommendations for students qualifying for nursing services. Provide nursing services using current best practices based on prescribed services in the IEP. Maintain all documentation required by the district and ASHA's code of ethics, including daily notes, monthly summaries, and annual IEPs. This full-time on-site role supports children and families in speech, physical, occupational, or ABA therapy within a collaborative pediatric environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold a current license to practice in the state of residence/state of placement
- Have successful experience working with culturally diverse families
