Job Summary
Provide and monitor patient care in the GYN Emergency Department; coordinate multidisciplinary care and discharge planning; implement and monitor patient care plans; document and communicate patient condition; carry out physician and nursing orders; RN licensure in TN or Compact State; required certifications within specified timelines (ALSO/ALS, BLS, Neonatal Resuscitation); diploma or professional licensure as nursing prerequisites; schedule PRN | Days in Nashville, TN at Saint Thomas Midtown.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required (AHA or Red Cross accepted)
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required (AHA or Red Cross accepted)
- Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire
