Job Summary
Perform physical examinations, establish medical histories, and evaluate donor suitability for plasma donation centers. Build rapport with donors, ensure confidentiality, and provide education on general health and counseling for unacceptable test results. Evaluate and manage donor injuries, adverse events, and histories of illness or medications. Administer employee Hepatitis Vaccine programs and assist in employee training. Maintain donor awareness regarding potential hazards. Requires current licensure as an RN, LPN, or LVN, CPR certification, and state compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Educated and currently certified/licensed in the state of employment and according to state requirements as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Licensed Vocation Nurse, Paramedic, or EMT
- HS diploma or GED
- Current CPR certification
