Job Summary
Join the Acute Care Adult Medical Oncology Unit (3 East) as a Registered Nurse on the MetroHealth System's Glick team in Cleveland, OH. Unit emphasizes IV medication therapy, blood product transfusion, pain management, hospice and palliative care, with cross-training for Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) and Medical/Surgical overflow. Role supports chemotherapy certification; collaborates with LPNs, PCNAs, Nurse Interns, and Providers. Bi-weekly hours total 72 with rotating day/night shifts and rotating weekends/holidays. MetroHealth offers tuition reimbursement, professional certification incentives, and OPERS retirement; eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 for qualifying experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
- Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire
