Job Summary
Provide patient care using the nursing process across Med Surg and Women’s & Children’s units, Critical Care, and Emergency Department as assigned. Must hold RN licensure (state or compact) with graduation from an approved nursing program (ADN/ diploma/ BSN) and have at least 1 year of experience. Certifications required include BLS (all units); ACLS for CCU/ED; PALS for ED. Be able to push/pull or lift up to 50 pounds, stand/walk for extended periods, and perform required nursing duties with accuracy and compassion. Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure
- Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate’s Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- 1 year of nursing experience
- Life support certification current upon hire (per Mercy policy within 90 days)
- BLS for Med Surg and Women’s and Children’s; ACLS for Critical Care; BLS, ACLS, PALS for ED
