Job Summary
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. RN licensure in the hiring state/compact required; 1 year of experience. Certifications include BLS (and ACLS/PALS as applicable to units: Med-Surg/WC/BLS; CC with BLS/ACLS; ED with BLS/ACLS/PALS). Physical demands include lifting 50 lbs and prolonged standing/walking. Benefits available after 32+ hours per pay period.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN) and RN licensure in hiring state and/or compact licensure
- 1 year of experience
- Life support certification current upon hire and in alignment with Mercy policy within 90 days
- For Med Surg (MS) and Women’s and Children’s (WC) - BLS; For Critical Care (CC) - BLS, ACLS; For ED - BLS, ACLS, PALS
- Physical requirements: ability to push/pull/lift 50 pounds; prolonged standing and walking; ability to grip/reach/bend/kneel/twist/squat
