Job Summary
Registered Nurse for Med-Surg/Women & Children/CC/ED at Mercy. Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care. Education requirements include ADN, Diploma, or BSN; licensure must be current in the hiring state or compact; certifications include BLS (and ACLS for CC, PALS for ED) with additional policy timelines. Requires 1 year of experience and ability to lift up to 50 pounds, prolonged standing/walking, and range of motions. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of nursing school with Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN
- Current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Life support certification current upon hire; BLS (and ACLS/PALS as specified by unit) by policy
- 1 year of experience in nursing
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, stand/walk for shift, and perform required motions
