Job Summary
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care in the Med-Surg setting. Requires RN licensure in the hiring state (or compact licensure) and 1 year of experience. Education options include Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN. Certifications include BLS; CC departments may require ACLS and PALS. Physical duties include lifting up to 50 pounds, prolonged standing/walking, and mobility tasks. Required Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Education: Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN (as stated)
- 1 year of nursing experience
- Current Life Support certifications per Mercy policy: BLS for Med-Surg/WC; BLS/ACLS/PALS as applicable by department
