Job Summary
Provide patient care using the nursing process as a Registered Nurse in Mercy’s Medical-Surgical department (MS) with potential assignments in Women’s and Children’s (WC) and Critical Care (CC) contexts; requires RN licensure (state or compact) and nursing education (Associate’s/Diploma/BSN); minimum 1 year experience; current life-support certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS as applicable); physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds and prolonged standing/walking; Mercy offers benefits including medical/dental/vision, PTO, tuition support, and retirement plans for eligible staff.
Required Qualifications
- RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Education: Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN
- 1 year of nursing experience
- Current life support certifications: BLS (MS/WC/CC/ED contexts) and ACLS/PALS where applicable
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand/walk, and perform clinical duties
