Job Summary
Registered Nurse in the GI Lab providing perioperative and procedural support in endoscopy and bronchoscopy, circulating and assisting physicians during GI and pulmonary procedures, pre- and post-procedure care, pre-anesthesia assessments, and on-call duties. Travel to the ICU for bedside procedures as needed. Requires an ADN/Associate Degree, ACLS and BLS certifications, and 1 year of applicable nursing experience. Full-time, day shift in Saint Luke’s GI Lab, Kansas City, MO; includes infection prevention and scope reprocessing training and leadership responsibilities within the endoscopy unit.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- ACLS Certification
- BLS Certification
- 1 year experience in related GI/endoscopy/nursing roles
Desired Qualifications
- Gastroenterology or endoscopy nursing experience
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- Leadership/clinical resource roles in endoscopy/GI
