Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process while maintaining competency with current standards. Integrate evidence-based practice, promote safety measures, and guide staff in providing patient care. Recognize emergency situations, adjust to varying clinical scenarios, and ensure thorough, timely documentation. Requires an IL RN license, BLS/ACLS certification, and floating 1-2 times monthly between Evanston and Skokie GI Labs. Full-time 40-hour schedule with call rotations available 7am-5:30pm M-F. Endeavor Health serves over 4.2 million residents across northeast Illinois with Magnet-recognized hospitals.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- IL RN License
- CPR BLS through American Heart Association
- ACLS through American Heart Association
- Reliable transportation for floating
- Prefer at least one year of experience as a staff nurse
- Prefer endoscopy, med/surg, or procedural experience
- Demonstrates mastery of nursing skills
- Communicates effectively
- If experienced RN, is able to guide and supervise nursing personnel
