Job Summary
Provide specialized psychiatric nursing support for patients aged 65+ in an Ascension St. Vincent Hospital geriatrics unit. Evaluate patients' physical and mental health to help create and update personalized care plans, collaborate with the medical team to set goals and adjust treatments, lead or co-lead group therapy sessions, perform daily nursing interventions, and monitor patient responses to treatment to pivot plans as needed.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire
