Job Summary
Registered Nurse with 4+ years of acute surgical ward experience sought for Epworth Geelong's surgical services. The role focuses on delivering exceptional patient care across a multidisciplinary team in a Geelong-based ward covering breast and endocrine, ENT, neurosurgery, plastics, vascular, hepatobiliary, colorectal, GI, bariatric, dental and ophthalmology services. Key responsibilities include providing high-quality clinical care, promoting patient safety and a respectful work environment, and collaborating with colleagues to support service development. Requires Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent), NMBA registration, and strong communication; a strong time-management mindset and commitment to professional development are essential. The position is part-time with salary range specified in AUD and eligibility for entitlements as per Epworth policy.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years experience in acute surgical nursing
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
- Registered Nurse with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) registration
- Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration
- Excellent clinical and communication skills
