Job Summary
Registered Nurse on the Neurology unit (A6 West Neuro) at Mission Hospital, providing professional nursing care using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care and teaching for patients and families. The role emphasizes leadership in delivering high-quality neurologic care, including stroke care and operation of an Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) with 24/7 seizure monitoring. Unit focuses on diverse neurological conditions such as myasthenia gravis, encephalopathies, dementia, tumors, and related testing/adjustments to tailor treatment plans. The position requires BSN by hire date (or enrollment with BSN within 5 years, with grandfathering in some cases) and current NC RN licensure (eNLC may apply), plus BLS. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enroll in a BSN or advanced degree program and obtain a BSN within 5 years of hire date into RN position
- Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing
