Job Summary
Provide high-quality, patient-centered surgical nursing care as part of Mission Hospital's General Surgery team. This role involves assessing patients on admission and each scheduled shift, performing procedures/monitoring as ordered, administering prescribed medications, documenting care thoroughly, responding to patient requests, and educating patients, families, and caregivers about conditions, treatments, medications, and follow-up steps to ensure understanding. The position requires an RN license, a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days of employment.
