Job Summary
Per diem RN in a 26-bed General Surgery unit treating a wide range of surgical and trauma patients. The role covers patients who have undergone general surgery, colorectal, dental, trauma, plastics and weight loss procedures, with acute care for adult burn patients. You will be part of an energetic, multidisciplinary team that emphasizes teaching, professional growth, and opportunities for continuing education. The unit offers certifications, the Clinical Advancement and Recognition Program (CARP), structured preceptorships, and ongoing education. On-call is not required. Relocation assistance is available and the hospital culture emphasizes patient safety, shared governance, and strong nurse support.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont
- ADN required
- BSN preferred
- Appropriate experience in specific clinical area varies by unit
