Job Summary
General Surgery RN in Burlington, VT per diem position in a 26-bed unit caring for surgical and trauma patients with 1–7 day stays (or longer for complex cases). RNs will treat patients who have undergone general surgery, colorectal, dental, trauma, plastics, and weight-loss procedures and provide acute care for adult burn patients. Work within a multidisciplinary team that supports professional growth through certifications and the CARP program, with opportunities for structured preceptorships and continuing education. Not on-call. Relocation incentives offered to join the team.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont
- ADN required
- BSN preferred
- Appropriate experience in specific clinical area (varies by unit)
