Job Summary
Provides high-quality, patient-centered clinical nursing care on a 20-bed medical-surgical unit with Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) competency, including initial and ongoing patient assessment, medication administration, development and documentation of individualized plans of care, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Maintains compliance with safety and documentation policies, completes a CRU submission using a recent US-based research article, and fulfills CEU requirements annually. Requires NYS RN license, BLS, and a Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred. Night shift (7pm–7am) with rotating weekends/holidays on a General Medicine unit (4300) at Unity/Rochester Regional Health; PD competency training is provided.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse license in New York State
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
