Job Summary
Assess and admit patients, perform rounding checks, administer medications, and communicate with family members to oversee overall patient care on the Medicine Unit. Manage acute and chronic care cases for patients aged 18 and up, including a special focus on the senior population. This role offers multiple shift options including days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) and nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) at Sentara CarePlex Hospital in Hampton, VA. New graduates are welcome to apply and may qualify for a sign-on bonus and the hospital's 6-month Nurse Residency program.
Required Qualifications
- Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire
- RN-Associate's Degree, or RN-Bachelor's Degree, or RN-Diploma, or RN-Master's Degree
- Multiple shifts available
- Days: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM & Nights: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
