Job Summary
Registered Nurse role providing inpatient nursing care under the supervision of the Director of Nursing in a psychiatric setting. Administers nursing care per physician orders, supervises MHTs, and supports patient health needs across physiological, psychological, safety, and general health domains. Requires Louisiana RN license, at least 12 months of direct patient care experience, CPR and crisis/violence intervention certifications, and effective English communication. 12-hour shifts on-site in Baton Rouge, LA.
Required Qualifications
- Current Louisiana RN license
- Minimum 12 months experience in direct patient care (preferably psychiatric)
- Able to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal)
- Certified in CPR
- Certified in crisis/violence intervention
- Strong bedside manner
- Basic computer knowledge
