Registered Nurse - Full-Time Nights

Job Summary

Coordinate medical, psychiatric, and substance abuse care for individuals while serving as a clinical liaison until they transition to community facilities. Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide individual and family counseling. Administer medications per protocol, monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, and respond to crisis calls for assessment and intervention. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, public health agencies, and outside medical support services to ensure appropriate service delivery and continuous improvement of recovery outcomes. Complete clinical documentation and adhere to federal, state, and Recovery Innovations compliance standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse
  • Valid and current state-specific Nursing license
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a behavioral health setting
  • Knowledge of psychiatric medications and their indications, common side effects, reactions and interactions of medications prescribed
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Ability to conduct assessments and treatment plans
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Effective listening skills
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Must be able to pass de-escalation training, as defined by state requirements
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old unless residing in a state where funder or government regulations set a different minimum age requirement
  • Travel required based on business need
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality (HIPAA guidelines and regulations) and professionalism
  • Must be able to pass a seven-year background check
  • Must be able to pass substance abuse testing and/or tuberculous testing (if applicable)
  • Must be able to pass education verification check
  • Must be able to obtain designated fingerprinting clearance in applicable states
  • Must be able to pass three-year motor vehicle report and meet minimum eligibility requirements criteria of insurance carrier (if driving is required for this position)
  • A Nursing Competency Checklist must be completed as part of the new hire onboarding process
  • May be required to lift up to twenty (20) pounds

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
  • Valid and current state-specific Nursing license (Compact licensure preferred)
  • Trauma Informed Care experience preferred
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Licensed Registered Nurse with 1 year of experience preferred (MHP level preferred)
